We’re delighted you’re considering Little Sizzlers Hotel for your dachshund’s holiday.

To keep things calm, safe, and enjoyable for every Sausage in our care, we follow a simple registration process.

​

🚨 Before You Begin

Please note that we cannot accept new enquiries for holidays starting less than 8 weeks away, as our registration process takes time to complete.

These pages explain how we work and will help you decide whether Little Sizzlers is the right fit for your dachshund.

🐾 Step 1 – Contact Us 

Complete our Contact Form including:

• your required dates

• a little information about your dachshund

• confirmation that you've read the pages above

If we have availability, we'll email you our Registration Forms and ask you to return them together with your dog's current vaccination record.

🐶 Step 2 – Meet & Greet 

Once we've received your completed paperwork, we'll invite you and your dachshund to a complimentary Meet & Greet.

Before your visit, we'll send you photos of our licence, insurance and first aid qualifications along with a short video tour of our home so you can see where your sausage will be staying.

During the visit:

• we will have a short walk together around the gardens (weather permitting)

• your dog then stays with us for around an hour while you enjoy a coffee nearby

• we assess how they settle with us and the other guest sausages

• we'll send you video updates

• we'll discuss the next steps when you return

🏡 Step 3 – Booking

​🐾Boarding: 

If your first stay is more than 3 nights, we'll ask your dachshund to complete a one-off Overnight Trial Stay first.

Some more sensitive sausages may benefit from one or two shorter build-up daycare visits beforehand. We'll always recommend what we feel is best for your dog.

If, after the trial, we don't feel our home is the right fit, we'll tell you honestly and can recommend other licensed home boarders.

🐾Daycare: 

If your dachshund settles well during their Meet & Greet, they can usually start daycare straight away.

Once your dachshund has successfully completed their Trial Stay, they're officially part of the Little Sizzlers family.
