How To Register

We're delighted you're considering us for your Dachshund's care.

Prior to a first-time booking, we require a few steps (including a Meet & Greet visit and assessment of your dog's needs) to ensure the best possible care for your dog.

​SHORT NOTICE BOOKINGS

While we'll do our best to accommodate short-notice requests, the following steps do take time, so availability may be limited. We encourage you to contact us as soon as possible to discuss your needs, and we'll do everything we can to help.

Step 1- YOUR ENQUIRY​

• Please review our Essential Info and T&C's below

• Please then contact us with your enquiry, and we will respond typically by email (please check your spam/junk mail)

​

• We will email you our Registration form for your completion and return together with your Dachshund’s up-to-date vaccination record.  

​

Step 2 – MEET & GREET​

• After we've received your completed paperwork and clarified any points, we'll arrange an appointment for your Dachshund's complimentary 1 hour Meet & Greet visit here. This is arranged ideally at 11am, on any day of the week including weekends (subject to diary availability).

• We will confirm your Meet & Greet appointment by Whatsapp along with directions and a video-tour of our home to help you get acquainted with our facilities. We understand when you visit that you might like to have a look inside our home but we have found our video- tour goes a long way to reducing Sausagey excitement or anxieties that unfamiliar visitors may otherwise cause coming into our home. ​

• When you arrive at your appointed time, we will come out to meet you at our gates. We'll walk you and your Sausage around our gardens for 20 minutes or so (weather dependant).  Then you'll leave your Sausage with us for an hour while you go get a coffee/snack at nearby Hill Farm Caravan Holiday Park cafe or Gilberts Nursery tearoom.

• We will then spend an hour in a relaxed visit with your Sausage which allows us to get to know your dog and observe how they interact with our resident dogs and guest dogs.  We will keep you updated and ask you to return after an hour to collect your dog.

Step 3 – BUILD UP DAYS / OVERNIGHT TRIAL

Daycare

• Following the Meet & Greet, if we believe your dog will enjoy and benefit from our daycare environment, we can accept them for daycare with immediate effect. ​​

Boarding

• Following the Meet & Greet, if we believe your dog will settle well, we will then arrange for your dog to return for an overnight Trial stay if your future holiday booking is for longer than 3 nights​

​

• For dogs who are new to boarding or are shy/anxious, we may recommend a period of build-up days before their overnight Trial stay. This will be discussed with you as necessary.

​

• We will keep you updated throughout your dog’s build-up days or overnight Trial stay with us.

​

• If your dog doesn't settle or displays any concerning behaviours, we will ask you to collect them. Please note that Trial stays are non-refundable.  We will be happy to suggest other boarders who may be a better fit for your dog's needs.
