We're delighted you're considering us for your Dachshund's care.

Before any first-time booking, we ask all new guests to complete a simple Induction process.
This allows us to fully understand your dog’s needs and ensure the very best experience for everyone.

⏳ SHORT-NOTICE FIRST-TIME BOOKINGS

The induction process takes time and diary availability may be limited if your holiday is imminent.

We'll always do our very best to help if we can.

📝 Step 1 — YOUR ENQUIRY

Please take a few moments to read the following pages (also found in the main menu):

Please then get in touch via our Contact Us page with your enquiry.
We will reply by email (please check your spam/junk folder).

We will send you our Registration Form to complete and return.

We will also ask you to send us your Dachshund’s up-to-date vaccination record.

🐶 Step 2 — MEET & GREET VISIT ​

​​Once your paperwork is complete, we’ll arrange your dog’s complimentary

1-hour Meet & Greet visit. 

​Appointments are at 11am on weekends (subject to availability).

We will then send you:
✔ Our address and directions 
✔ Photos of our homeboarding licence, insurance and qualifications

✔ A video tour of our home
 

On the day…

We’ll meet you and your Sausage at our gates and we'll enjoy a relaxed 15-20 minute walk around our gardens together (weather permitting).
 

You’ll then leave your dog with us for an hour while you pop for a coffee or snack at

Hill Farm Caravan Holiday Park Café or Gilbert’s Nursery Tearoom.  Both are just a short drive away.

During that hour, we'll spend quality time getting to know your dog and observe how they settle and interact with our resident and guest dogs. We’ll send you video updates so you can see how they are settling in.

We will ask you to return after an hour to collect them and we have a chat about next steps.

​​​​🏡 Step 3 — YOUR FIRST BOOKING

When you make your first booking, we will send you our Vet Release form to complete and return before your dog's first stay (whether this is for daycare, build-up days or an overnight Trial stay).

This form enables us to be prepared for any emergency situation while your dog is in our care. 

Daycare

If your dog has enjoyed a happy time at their Meet & Greet visit, you can book them in for future daycare immediately.

​Boarding

For boarding stays longer than 3 nights, your dog will first need to complete a one-off Overnight Trial stay.

​For dogs who are shy or anxious, we may recommend several build-up days before their Overnight Trial stay.
