Frequently Asked Questions

​Yes but you will need to pay a 25% non-refundable deposit to reserve your dates while the Meet & Greet and Overnight Trial are completed (ideally within 4 weeks).

Your booking is only confirmed once your dog passes their Trial stay.

If your dog proves not to be suited to staying here, your deposit is not refundable.

If your dog passes its Trial stay, your booking will be confirmed and your deposit is deducted from your final balance.

If it’s been over a year since your dog last visited, we will need:

• New Registration & Vet Release forms

• Updated vaccination records

• A refresher overnight Trial stay

Things may have changed here in that last year, so this allows us to get reacquainted with your dog and understand any changes in their needs so we can provide the best possible care.

Required only for bookings longer than 3 nights and is chargeable — see Prices & Services.

The Trial lasts almost 2 days / 1 night, ideally from 11am drop-off to 6pm next day collection (subject to diary availability).
 

This helps us understand your Sausage's behaviour and comfort levels away from you, and establish if they would be happy here for a longer stay.  

Food: Enough for the duration of your dog's stay, plus a couple of extra meals, incase of collection delays.  Raw/fresh meals must be frozen (we have plenty of freezer space).

Harness: For emergency vet travel only.

For the safety of all, we cannot have children under 16 visit our home.

We provide everything to ensure your dog's comfort and enjoyment here. 

You may bring a small blanket from home if you wish but we don't tend to recommend this as invariably 'somebody' wee's on it and it ends up in our washing machine, thereby losing the scent of home! 

Personal items damaged by other guests cannot be replaced.
